Here lies my very first blog post on my newly created blog, built for all things Taiwan. Specifically for keeping friends and fam informed of my being (well and otherwise) and, quite possibly, for keeping my sanity during the upcoming year or so of teaching english in Taiwan. It will undoubtedly be a weird, wild, difficult, challenging year. But, it will be an adventure, one that I am thoroughly looking forward to.
Anyway, I do plan on improving the look of this thing. As soon as I get a few extra dollars to get it properly hosted so that I can edit the css. When I do, this blog will sing. Oh yes it will.
See you in Asia!

Im so glad to hear you are liking it and as far as the 3 weeks of training, just think of how much more prepaired you will be! OH MY GOD – YOURE IN TAIWAN!!!! HA! You should totally teach us some chinese as you are learning it – just the basics, i would totally enjoy that. Thanks Lesly! I will totally start adding little Chinese mini-lessons to my posts, that’s a damn good idea, and it will help me keep it up. It’s almost too easy to get away with not knowing Chinese, since most people know at least a little bit of English. I need to get crackin’ though, I feel dumb since I’m in their country and they know more of my language than I know of theirs. Anyway, thanks for writing! It is really really good to hear from people back home! Hope all is well!
